KALĀ
The third edition of KALĀ returns to Colombo from February 10th to 28th, 2025, spotlighting South Asian modern and contemporary art. Organized in collaboration with the University of Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA) to mark its 75th anniversary, this year’s event features an expanded program of exhibitions, workshops, and artist residencies.

The KALĀ Commune Residency Open Studio Exhibition provides an intimate look into the practices of regional artists like Ahmed Rasel and Hema Shironi. Visitors can also engage in architect-led talks, collector panels, and family-friendly workshops celebrating Sri Lanka’s crafts.
