Bangalore based textile studio Vaya is redefining luxury home fabrics. Operating under the umbrella of Universal Textile Mills, Vaya designs, curates, and produces luxury drapery and upholstery fabrics for homes that are inspired by the sights and experiences that surround us. Vaya’s fabrics are a contemporary story of a robust legacy. While the brand was established in 2018, Universal Textile Mills has been pushing the envelope to create gorgeous, decorative fabrics that reflect a rich heritage for the past fifty years. The delicate hand embroideries, sophisticated silk jacquards, and bold designs originating from the mill brought them into the limelight, making them one of India’s largest silk fabric exporters.
