Orange Tree is a retail venture of furniture and interior accessories company Basant that was started by Mr Vinay Kumar Jain in Jodhpur, Rajasthan in 1998. Over a span of 25 years, Basant has made a mark across 17 countries through its design and craftsmanship and has worked with international clients such as Crate and Barrel, Westelm, Pottery Barn, H&M Home, and Zara Home. The founder Vinay Kumar had the vision to start a brand in the domestic market that would bring global trends and designs of the same quality at competitive prices to the Indian audience. This thought inspired Gaurav Jain to start Orange Tree in 2014.
Driven by a strong environmentally conscious philosophy, all products are designed in-house with a focus on uniqueness and experimentation. The USP of the brand is furniture products made from an array of materials like wood (Acacia, Sheesham, Mango), metal, stone, ceramic, paper mache, bamboo, and cane; creating designs that are contemporary and minimalistic in form but handcrafted in spirit. Orange Tree prides itself as a brand that leads with its heart, nurtures the soul, and celebrates the spirit of design while trying to maintain a balance between the ecosystem and the economy.
