This year marks an extraordinary century of timeless elegance and refined hospitality at Le Bristol Paris. Since opening its doors in 1925 under the vision of the Jammet family, this legendary Parisian landmark has stood as a beacon of luxury, seamlessly blending historic charm with modern sophistication. A hundred years on, Le Bristol remains not just a hotel, but the enduring heart of Parisian grandeur, where tradition is honoured, and every detail whispers of its storied past.
As a part os the centenary celebrations, Le Bristol has embraced its legacy through artistic and architectural enhancements. Two of their iconic suites, The ‘Signature Honeymoon Suite’ and the ‘Imperial Suite,’ have been redesigned to elevate guest experience and as a tribute to the hotel’s deep-rooted connection to art and culture. On a culinary front, innovative cooking styles and ingredients will be used for making culinary delights throughout the year. Besides, the hotel has also collaborated with prestigious brands for curated experiences during the centenary celebrations.

Le Bristol Paris was entrusted to the German Oetker family soon after being founded by the Jammet family in 1925. As this family-run hotel marks 100 years, the celebrations are all about culture with tailor-made hospitality, attentive service, ultimate comfort, exquisite dining, and extraordinary cultural activities. Attention to detail, like George Condo’s artworks, De Gournay artisans’ hand-painted wallpapers, Le Bristol’s 100th-anniversary capsule collection, Designer Marguerite Le Maire’s custom rug, and more, have been the key to the centenary celebrations at Le Bristol Paris.

Redesign and Renovations For The Anniversary

While there have been a few renovations and redesigns at the Le Bristol Paris, there are no major changes in the design or architecture. One such change includes renovations to The Suite Impériale by George Condo. This space combines a studio, an exhibition gallery, and an apartment. Reimagined by Narcisa Oetker, Elvira Oetker, George Condo, and French architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, the suite exhibits Condo’s creativity and talent through his artworks. “I discovered Le Bristol Paris and settled in. It became a refuge where I could work in peace. This is the first time I have been asked to decorate the interior of a hotel. What a privilege to do it for my favourite one!” shares Condo.
The Oetkers aimed to blend the master’s art with French craftsmanship while preserving Le Bristol Paris’ distinct style. This resulted in the use of Chinese lacquer, Lyon silk velvet, and Bohemian crystal wall sconces in the redesign. De Gournay artisans hand-painted the wallpapers, extending their motifs onto the exquisite silk curtains in the bedrooms of the rooms and suites. Designer Marguerite Le Maire created a custom rug for the dining room, which is a unique, handmade piece using the hand-tufting technique. The Suite Honeymoon, located on the top floor of Le Bristol Paris, was also redesigned for the celebrations. It is the only room on the eighth floor, offering complete privacy with panoramic views of the city.

In addition to the redesigned suites, the common areas at Le Bristol Paris have also been transformed to mark the celebrations. Guests can relax on luxurious couches from the 100th-anniversary capsule collection, designed in collaboration with Le Bristol Paris and Sporty & Rich, or don a Bristol Society hat from the hotel’s first ready-to-wear collection. To deepen guests’ connection to the hotel’s rich past, Le Bristol Paris has unveiled a bespoke edition of the classic Cluedo board game. Thoughtfully reimagined to reflect the hotel’s 1930s setting, this special version of the iconic murder mystery invites players into an engaging, era-inspired experience, offering an entertaining glimpse into the daily life and ambience of the hotel’s golden age.

“With a spontaneous and sincere approach, the staff creates an atmosphere of celebration in every moment. Our secret is to always anticipate our guests’ needs,” shares Luca Allegri, General Manager of Le Bristol Paris.
A Perfect Blend Of Legacy And Luxury

For the 100th anniversary, Le Bristol Paris has collaborated with prestigious brands to maximise the celebrations. Besides the 100th-anniversary capsule collection, designed in collaboration with Sporty & Rich, the hotel’s first ready-to-wear collection, and the classic Cluedo board game, Le Bristol Paris has also focused on creating an anniversary-special aroma for the hotel that will linger in the premises throughout the year.
Le Bristol Paris has collaborated with the famous French fragrance brand Cire Trudon to create a custom aroma that sums up the essence of the hotel. This signature fragrance, an elegant blend of white musk, vetiver, and cedar, will fill the property throughout 2025 as candles and room sprays, adding a layer of luxury to the celebrations.

To complement this, ten carefully selected classics—each representing a distinct era—serve as a nostalgic nod to the unique character and charm of each musical moment in time.
