Mumbai’s skyline is a medley of contemporary soaring towers and vintage heritage structures, earning it the moniker ‘The City of Dreams. Aligned with the city’s evolution and the ever-growing aspirations for urban living, Eon Group embraces the philosophy of ‘sense and sensibility’, with a design ethos that blends aesthetics with functionality. Drawing inspiration from the classic Jane Austen novels, the terms—sense and sensibility—depict contrasting temperaments, in this instance the delicate balance between functionality and aesthetics. “This approach drives every decision we make—from designing layouts that maximise space and selecting materials that balance quality with sustainability, to ensuring amenity choices that truly add meaningful value to residents’ lifestyles,” explains Palash Shah Director at Eon Group.
1. City Living, But Make It Iconic

Amidst a sea of towers, Eon Group debuted with a skyscraper monikered, ‘Eon One’ weaving tales of contemporary living with a nod to a sustainable way of life. Nestled amidst essential conveniences, Eon Group’s opulent flagship project in Prabhadevi epitomises the art of creating the perfect work-life balance with a curated amenities floor borrowing references from epicureanism. “The tower’s strategic location allows residents to enjoy iconic Mumbai landmarks such as Siddhivinayak Temple, Shivaji Park, and Worli Seaface, all within walking distance,” Shah remarks.
This sleek tower, envisioned through meticulous collaborations including architects and design studios such as Skyline Architects helmed by Saurabh Chatterjee, and Essajees Atelier, led by Sarah Sham, stands as a testament to refined urban living. Its sleek, contemporary silhouette blends functionality and aesthetics, and maximises space and movement with its design. Emphasising the power of collaboration, Shah remarks, “Partnerships such as these help us not only innovate but also take our vision of creating living spaces that resonate with modern, urban lifestyles to the next level.”
Located in the heart of Prabhadevi, the Eon One tower is a true architectural marvel that embodies a balance, with every space crafted to combine contemporary with classic timelessness. This philosophy comes to life in the scrupulously curated three-bedroom show apartment. Soaring 35 stories high, Eon One epitomizes opulent living with just three residences per floor, ensuring unparalleled privacy. The show flat’s expansive layout embraces natural light and sea-kissed breezes, exuding effortless sophistication. “The design language for this house is very contemporary, we’ve leaned on using lots of bright, fun and fresh colours,” explains Sarah Sham, principal designer of Essajees Atelier.

2. Designing A Perfect Blend Of Hustle And Calm

From the capacious neutral palette punctuated with bursts of colour to the soft, voluptuous decor elements, this refined retreat peeks at spectacular vistas of the Arabian Sea. Drawing inspiration from the tranquil sea views, Sham consciously infused the interiors with shades of blue and green, a strong connection to nature, and a rich, earthy palette. Embracing this vision, the home’s entrance unfolds with a rippled cobalt wallpaper and textured veneer.
With rounded furniture placed in the living room and a dining area with a custom terrazzo and concrete table, these elements mirror the beauty of the ocean while creating a fluid dialogue between the outdoors and indoors. Juxtaposing vibrantly, the kitchen’s gallant and refreshingly unique red corian countertop and deep navy cabinetry imbue an artistic flair while adding a burst of colour to the space. The bedroom, framed by colossal windows, embraces a wave-inspired theme with a scalloped design flowing across the back wall, adding an undulating texture and rhythmic sense. With an inlaid marble totem and a patterned facade in the bathroom, the apartment beams with a flamboyant palette, underscoring the significance of bespoke pieces.

3. Sustainability In Everyday Living

Striking a nifty equilibrium between urban connectivity that caters to the ever-present bustle with the serenity of unhurried living, this palatial tower embodies both contemporary aspirations and timeless tranquillity. With high-speed elevators and smart parking, the design elevates effortless transit, while stroll-friendly planning crafts a harmonious urban sanctuary. The tower is designed to incorporate sustainable features, including solar panels for partial energy needs and an on-site system for treating wastewater with a focus on recycling.
The residences at Eon One are designed with a “commitment to a thoughtfully curated balance that truly sets Eon apart, offering homes that are not only very desirable to live in, but also deeply rooted in efficiency and practicality,” he reveals. Beyond its magnificent residences, Eon One curates a discerning lifestyle with a dedicated wellness floor—where a tranquil pool, a cutting-edge gym, and immersive entertainment zones set the stage for indulgence. This ethos extends outdoors, with a lush walking track that takes one to a rooftop terrace—a celestial retreat for yoga or moonlit soirées—set against the sea’s mesmerizing backdrop with a connection to the city’s vibrant energy.
4. A 35+ Year Legacy Turning the Page

Founded in 1990, and previously known as Siddharth Group, the new Eon identity marks an evolution as the group expands from crafting community-centric affordable housing to also redefining urban living in South and Central Mumbai. This real estate group was founded by Bharat Shah and is also led by Palash Shah, a Wharton alumnus. The group’s rebranding to ‘Eon’ in 2020 ushered in a steadfast dedication to offering a fresh perspective on ‘new’ living. It is a philosophy that transcends mere development to breathe a whole new life into spaces while preserving the essence of its true identity.
With over 10 million square feet of residential and mixed-use developments, accommodating more than 8,000 residents across its developments, Eon has cemented its legacy. The group has been recognised as the ‘Iconic Promising Developer of the Year’ at the Times Real Estate Conclave & Awards 2024, while its flagship Eon One has been listed among Mumbai’s Top 10 Residential Projects of 2024 by Silicon India Magazine and has also been awarded ‘Distinguished Redevelopment Project of 2024’ by Times of India. The group aims to champion sustainability, innovation, and thoughtfully curated living spaces over its future pipeline of over 400 acres.
