MODERNISM WEEK

Modernism Week, a premier eleven-day celebration held annually in Greater Palm Springs, embodies a passionate mission to honour and promote mid century architecture, design, and contemporary innovation. With over 120,000 attendees participating in a diverse array of over 350 events, this acclaimed festival offers a rich tapestry of experiences, including the Modernism Show, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, and vibrant cultural gatherings. Established in 2005 by a dedicated group of local enthusiasts and organisations, including the Modernism Show & Sale, Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, and Palm Springs Art Museum, Modernism Week continues to flourish as a collaborative effort with more than 60 additional partners. This dynamic event underscores a commitment to education, preservation, and sustainable modern living, reflecting the enduring legacy of Palm Springs’ iconic mid century modern architecture.
