Yuri started out as a passion project in the year 2021, and today strives to celebrate exceptional Indian craftsmanship while at the same time exploring new horizons, and creating beautiful contemporary functional products. With an unrelenting focus on great design, functionality and craftsmanship the brand soon became the pioneer in creating handcrafted curtain tiebacks and organically expanded to making curtains, curtain accessories, such as embroidered trims, and cushions.
Given the market, both global and local, that celebrates exceptional craftsmanship, Yuri also explores various other Indian crafts in expanding the product variety and contributing to the growing market trend towards handcrafted products. The aim of Yuri is to leverage the existing indigenous crafts and artisans of India and make contemporary products that have the potential of scalability in both the Indian and global markets.
