With the mission of making everyday extraordinary, siblings Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour in 2014. They set out to create cutting-edge furniture, lighting, and rugs that marry the classical with the modern, the whimsical with the serious, and the functional with the dramatic. The Kolkata based brand has a wealth of unique collaborations under its belt that include international stores, press agencies, artists, and designers. By taking Indian craftsmanship to global levels, Scarlet Splendour heralds a blend of cultures and transcends geographical boundaries to achieve the extraordinary in the design world.
Launched at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week 2015, Scarlet Splendour’s debut collection was created by Italian designer Matteo Cibic. Since then, the brand has gone on to collaborate with the likes of Dario Contessotto, Mirco Colussi, Nika Zupanc, Richard Hutten, and the latest, Artefatto Design Studio from London.
From tapping into hydraulic technologies at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to collaborating with and championing local artisans, Scarlet Splendour strikes the perfect balance between tech and craft. The brand combines its exquisite artistry with immaculate design to evoke decadence and timelessness.
