Atelier Lumys’ customized handcrafted lamps marry the essence of French elegance with the impeccable skill of Indian artisans. Established in Pondicherry in 2005 by designers Pascal Lys and Isabelle Thevenet, it is now the largest fabric lamp manufacturer in South India. Despite the size of the company, however, every piece at the atelier continues to be handcrafted individually, with materials of the highest quality in order to ensure the best possible finished product. With a key focus on their environmental impact, most of Atelier Lumys’ raw material is sourced locally, and whenever possible, from the recycling chain.
Atelier Lumys has been distributing its products all over India through premium decoration and lighting stores across Pondicherry, Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.
In an endeavor to innovate and remain ahead of the curve, the company is always experimenting with new techniques and fresh designs. By collaborating regularly with architects and lighting consultants, they push the limits of architectural lighting design.
